Is Goliath Academy accredited?
Goliath Academy is accredited by NACE, the National Association for Christian Education. We are a member of or affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International, the National Association for Educational Statistics, the Home School Legal Defense Association, the Florida Distance Learning Association, the Florida Coalition Christian Private School Accreditation, the College Board SAT I and ACT, the NCAA, the NAIA, the college board testing services and the Florida Bright Future Scholarships. Goliath Academy has school satellites in Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach, Florida. Additionally, we have students in the 50 states as well as internationally, like in Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Goliath Academy is duly listed with the Florida State Department of Education and meets all requirements applying to non-public schools, in accordance with State of Florida Statutes, Sec. 229.808. Our registered number is 134083.

Is Goliath Academy open to everyone?
All students 14 and older who have completed the 8th grade may enroll at Goliath Academy. Students under 14 years of age may enroll in our elementary and junior high online programs as well. Students from all around the world have enrolled and earned their high school diplomas with Goliath Academy. Our mission is to assist all men and women in acquiring a quality Christian education and obtaining knowledge, wisdom, and understanding for living a God-fearing life of peace, joy, control, good sound character, leadership, service, stewardship, and worship through a quality education. Goliath Academy is dedicated to providing a life-altering Christian educational and professional learning experience to all of its students. Our goal is achieved first by helping students attain their high school diploma, then by counseling them as to their options for furthering their education and/or by making solid recommendations for the students’ future endeavors. (i.e., matriculation into college, the military, trade school, and other career options). Goliath Academy uses the power of God, a quality education, and proper counseling to make our students fully aware of the importance and benefits of having a high school diploma.

You can start today! Goliath Academy offers open enrollment all year, so students can enroll at any time.

What do the fees include?
School fees include the registration fee, books, and set-up fee. The available methods of payment are: School fees are payable at the office, online or by mail using cash, check, money order, MasterCard, or Visa. Goliath Academy reserves the right to alter this fee schedule at any time.

What if a student needs help?
Need help with your studies? Call the school office between 10am - 4pm at 561-642-9123 (dial 0) to connect with a certified instructor/tutor. Support services are available to all Goliath Academy students.

what courses are required to graduate?
Goliath Academy has the same basic required subjects as other Florida private schools or public high schools. You must have 24 credits in order to graduate. You must have the required credits in each of the core subjects and noted by the Florida Department of Education. Transfer credits most come from accredited high schools and be evaluated by our registrar who assures all of the requirements are met, per the Sunshine State Standards of the Florida Department of Education.

do you offer services and accommodations for students with disabilities?
Yes, as per the HB 7063 addition to the Florida Statute 1003.57 Exceptional Students Instruction subsection (5). Each full-time virtual instruction program under s. 1002.37 or s. 1002.45 must fulfill the obligations of a school district under this section for public school exceptional students who are enrolled in a full-time virtual instruction program. A student whose individual education plan indicates that full-time virtual instruction is appropriate may be enrolled in a full-time virtual instruction program. Subject to final rules issuance by the FLDOE concerning recently enacted legislation. Goliath Academy abides by the Florida Sunshine Standards and we offer optimal support to all persons with disabilities.
