This program is designed for students of all ages who need a high school diploma. If you dropped out of high school, are short on credits to graduate, failed the state exit exam, come from another country, or just need to graduate, this program is for you.

Now more than ever, you need a High School Diploma to get a job, go to College or join the Military. It is important! Here is your opportunity! Goliath Academy’s Adult-Education Program abides by Sunshine State Standards, offers a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)-approved curriculum, and is a College Preparatory, Academic Secondary School. To graduate, students are required to complete 24 Credits and have a Grade Point Average of 2.0 or above.

Students are prepared in the Four Content-Area Assessments:

• Reasoning through Language Arts
• Mathematics Reasoning
• Science
• Social Studies

Students are also required to pass the end-of-course Exams and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to earn and be awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma.

Besides the general subjects, students are offered foreign languages and computer business courses. This program is designed to enhance a student's employability skills and is career-oriented. The classes include comprehensive Examinations and emphasis is placed on the students’ intellectual abilities, such as evaluating, analyzing, drawing conclusions and understanding and applying informative concepts. The examinations are subject-specific and learned through classroom-acquired work and participation. Showing mastery through performance level will certify that the adult student is career- and college-ready. The Adult Education Program is for adults who are self-motivated, intellectually curious and independent learners. These are qualities colleges look for and value in students.

Our blended curriculum (two SACS-approved workbooks and textbooks and computer-based curriculum are mixed) gives students the opportunity to get work done not only from the classroom but from home as well or wherever they have Internet access. “Adults don’t have time; we make time.”. This is why Goliath Academy offers students all of the possibilities to finish what they started by earning an accredited high school diploma. The sense of accomplishment you will feel will transform your entire way of looking at everything around you: your job, family, friends, and more importantly, YOU!!!!!
